Manchester Grand Hyatt – San Diego

Landmark Hotel that Doesn’t Disappoint

Review of Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego

Californian dreamin’

This is an iconic hotel that stands tall on the San Diego seafront. It has its own pool but you are close to all the seafront amenities including the Seaport Village where they filmed ‘Top Gun’. The USS Midway is close by and worth a visit. I enjoyed a reunion with the San Diego Pier Cafe the first restaurant I ever dined at in the US. Many more places to wine and dine on your doorstep.

Whilst being large (40 floors) the hotel does not lose quality nor attention to detail. Location is second to none and ideal for business and holiday stays. Rooms are spacious and clean. There are 4 fine restaurants to eat from including a top floor bar that offers stunning views. A 24 hour store too serving coffee and deli fro us writing insomniacs.

Staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. Free wifi which is reliable. Free bottled water. Faultless. I’ll be back.

5 out of 5 all day.
